RAUCALL (Rand Afrikaans University College for the Advancement of Learning and Leadership) is a secondary school situated in Crosby, Johannesburg, South Africa that was established in 1992.  Metropolitan, an insurance giant, decided to become a co-sponsor of the college in 1994, and the project was then jointly named Metropolitan-RAUCALL. The reason for starting the college was to give learners with academic potential from marginalized communities the opportunity to obtain a sound secondary education and then move on to tertiary education. This still remains the main criterion for learners to gain access to Metropolitan-RAUCALL.
